He hasn't told any one but he has noticed a change in himself and his abilities. For the past month he has begun to notice another power building within him other then his ki and chi. He has no one to turn to for help and does not know what to do.

One day while at school Ryoga, Mousse, Taro and Kuno attack him all at once. He is finding himself hard press to fight them all without hurting them. When his danger sense begins to tickle and he hears the gentle voice of his 'uncute fiancee' (sarcasm here).

"RRRAAANNNMMMAAA! QUIT PICKING ON RYOGA, YOU BAKA!"

There is a flash of twinkling light and Ranma disappears only to reappear on the roof of the school. He looks down at the confusion in the school yard his mind in chaos like his life.

"Very good young sir!" Ranma turns to see a tall heavy set man with a long black beard and hair.

"It is time for you to come and train in your new powers, but I am afraid your curse will need to be addressed." The man raises his hand and gives Ranma a scroll.

"This will tell you where to go and how to get to your knew school. You will however need to decide if you will train as a male or female. I am afraid we can not have the problems that come with your constent change." Ranma looks down at the scroll then back up to see no one there.

That night Ranma sat under the bridge over the canal, never having gone home after school. He reads the parchment over for the third time. He then looks up and looks at the stars reflecting in the water before him.

Ranma rises and walks to the canal and kneels next to it. He sees his face starring back at him. His sapphire blue eyes filled with haunted pain. He dips his hand into the water and watches as the change takes place with no change in his eyes.

He sits back on his hanches and looks up to the underside of the bridge his life and that day playing over in her mind. Her hand reaches out and takes the scroll laying next to her. She opens the scroll and reads aloud the strange words at the bottom of the scroll.

Ranma glows a dull orange then rises and heads back to the Tendo Dojo. Part of the scroll still in her hands but a single page left behind. It bursts into flames but before the last is cinder the words 'Repeat this incantation to remove your curse. You must be in the form you wish to keep.'

The next day Ranma is met at the table by the Tendo's and his parents. His gaze mets Akane who glares at him in anger while she holds P-chan close. He looks up at his mother to see her glaring at him and reaching for her ever present katana.

Ranma ignores her and waits for Kasumi to join them. When the eldest Tendo sits at the table Ranma rises and clears her throat. All stare at her with varing degree of emotions.

"The last six months have given me a great deal to consider in my life. I have decided that I will no longer take the abuse of those around me. I have tried to be nice to Akane, I have not picked on, insulted or done anything to hurt her. I have stayed away from Ukyo and Shampoo. She still however will find or MAKE UP an excuse to beat me.

"I have been given the oppertunity to study abroad and I am taking it. I am breaking ALL ENGAGEMENTS and since I am 18 there is nothing anyone can do about it." Ranma looked around the table at the stunned silence that met her.

She then turned and went back upstairs only to return a moment later with her pack already packed. Ranma looks at her mother and with a sneer asks.

"Mom, when a man makes a pledge of honor to keep a weakness of another secret is there a time that pledge can be broken without losing honor?" Nodoka's angry glare falters at the question.

"Yes, when the man then uses that honor pledge to commit dishonorable acts." She stated flatly her voice cold.

"You mean like Ryoga Hibiki having a Jusenkyo curse, forcing me to keep quiet about it then in that curse form slipping into Akane's bed as her pet PIG. Even under the eye of her family who knew about the curse but did nothing. While I tried to tell her without actually breaking my pledge?" Nodoka nodded slowly a dumb look on her face.

Ranma walks out the door to catch her train to her new school in sorcery leaving the angry shouts of Akane and Nodoka as they chase down Ryoga, Soun, Genma, Nabiki and Kasumi.
